A top down look at what Coastal VAs can offer

Having worked as a Virtual Assistant for many years, I must confess that one of my biggest hurdles is clearly communicating to people what we offer. I often explain things with a bottom up approach, starting with the simplest examples and then building up to our higher level services. Today, however, I am going to try a “top down” approach explaining what Coastal VAs can offer. At the highest level we offer real business guidance. We have worked with small and medium sized businesses for over 10 years now and we really do understand the challenges you face. One of our clients expressed it like this: “When we meet, I can talk through all the thoughts I have about my business, all my ideas and worries. As a client, you don’t need to know exactly what you want from us when we meet, just knowing you need some help is enough. At the next level down, underpinning this guidance, is our expertise in website development, social media marketing and the day to day running of a business. Between us, Syma and I have a vast amount of experience in these areas. Syma has managed the development of 15+ websites from scratch and the update and redesign of many more. We use expert designers and technicians on each project to provide top quality service. We have both been involved in Social Media Marketing since 2008 and have seen it evolve into a hugely important tool for businesses. It is constantly changing and growing, so we work hard to stay in touch with the latest trends and systems. And, although it is not headline grabbing, we have lots of experience with the administrative side of running a business. Managing email enquiries, bookings and follow-ups, preparing and sending email marketing campaigns, creating and monitoring invoices, etc. Improving the quality and efficiency of these core activities can transform a business, really freeing you up to grow and move on to the next level. So, that brings us to the bottom. Someone once asked if my job “involved a lot of typing”. Well, yes, it does, but it is so, so much more than that!
